“As part of an effort to optimize the company’s manufacturing footprint, several opportunities were identified to improve product flow, address growth/capacity concerns, or generate savings,” said Rob Adams, Senior Vice President, Manufacturing and Technical Operations.
These capital investments will be made in phases and will result in over 30% growth, help reduce downtime, and increase safety. The Toccoa Plant opened in April 1988 and is one of 17 American Woodmark manufacturing facilities across North America.
“Throughout this expansion we will move a large capacity saw, convert printing to lamination, and replace both a production cell and a production line,” said Adams.
